In view of the fact that: (1) the aggression directed at the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina continues; (2) the genocide against the Bosnian people is unchecked, in contravention to the 8 April 1993, order; and (3) the genocide and aggression is furthered through the sieges of Bosnian cities including Sarajevo, Gorazde, other so-called "safe areas" and other areas, we call upon the Security Council to take the necessary and immediate steps to lift the sieges and thereby confront the ongoing genocide.
