Argentina considers that this new unilateral British action is inadmissible and merely confirms that the United Kingdom can only justify its illegitimate presence in the South Atlantic through military might, which reflects its contempt for the pronouncements of the international community and, in particular, for the concern expressed in this regard by the entire region through multiple pronouncements of the Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR) and the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR), as well as the Ibero-American Summit, the South American and Arab Countries Summit and, recently, the Ministerial Meeting of the zone of peace and cooperation of the South Atlantic (ZPCSA), held in Montevideo in January 2013.
La Argentina considera inadmisible esta nueva acción unilateral británica que no hace sino confirmar que solo su fuerza militar justifica su ilegítima presencia en el Atlántico Sur, reflejando su desprecio hacia los pronunciamientos de la comunidad internacional y, en particular, hacia las preocupaciones manifestadas al respecto por la región toda, a través de múltiples pronunciamientos del Mercado Común del Sur (MERCOSUR) y la Unión de Naciones Suramericanas (UNASUR), así como por la Cumbre Iberoamericana, la Cumbre de América del Sur-Países Árabes y, recientemente, en la Reunión Ministerial de la Zona de Paz y Cooperación del Atlántico Sur (ZPCAS), realizada en Montevideo en enero de 2013.
