La falta de respeto de las autoridades croatas para con la Iglesia Ortodoxa Serbia y el pueblo serbio se pone también de manifiesto en la decisión de 4 de octubre de 1994 de la Inspección de Construcción de la oficina de Daruvar de Bjelovar/Bilogorje Zupanija (véase el apéndice I). En virtud de esa decisión, el Inspector ordenó a la "Iglesia Griega Oriental de Nuestra Señora" (las autoridades croatas se abstienen de utilizar el título correcto de "Iglesia Ortodoxa Serbia", que sustituyen por el de "Iglesia Griega Oriental") que procediese a la demolición del edificio de la iglesia ortodoxa de Siras, que había sido dinamitado, porque constituía un peligro inminente para los edificios colindantes, la vida humana y la seguridad del tránsito.
