At its sixty-third session, the General Assembly reiterated its request to the Secretary-General and the executive heads of the funds and programmes of the United Nations to ensure full implementation of the recommendations of the Board of Auditors and the related recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions in a prompt and timely manner and to hold programme managers accountable for non-implementation of the recommendations (resolution 63/246 A); reiterated that the issue of outstanding assessed contributions is a policy matter of the Assembly, and urged all Member States to make every possible effort to ensure the payment of their assessed contributions in full and on time; and requested the Secretary-General to provide, in the next report on the implementation of the recommendations of the Board of Auditors concerning the United Nations peacekeeping operations, a full explanation for the delays in the implementation of all outstanding recommendations of the Board, the root causes of the recurring issues and the measures to be taken (resolution 63/246 B).
На своей шестьдесят третьей сессии Генеральная Ассамблея вновь обратилась с просьбой к Генеральному секретарю и административным руководителям фондов и программ Организации Объединенных Наций обеспечивать оперативное и своевременное выполнение в полном объеме рекомендаций Комиссии ревизоров и соответствующих рекомендаций Консультативного комитета по административным и бюджетным вопросам и спрашивать с руководителей программ за невыполнение рекомендаций (резолюция 63/246 A); вновь заявила, что вопрос о невыплаченных начисленных взносах является вопросом политики, решаемым Генеральной Ассамблеей, и настоятельно призвала все государства-члены прилагать все возможные усилия, чтобы обеспечить выплату своих начисленных взносов в полном объеме и своевременно; и просила Генерального секретаря представить в следующем докладе о выполнении рекомендаций Комиссии ревизоров, касающихся операций Организации Объединенных Наций по поддержанию мира, полное объяснение задержек в выполнении всех невыполненных рекомендаций Комиссии и главных причин сохраняющихся проблем и информацию о мерах, которые должны быть приняты (резолюция 63/246 B).
