PAWO must attend and participate fully in the major discussions and meetings on the integration of women in development through their effective and efficient participation.

The General Secretariat of the Pan-African Women's Organization (PAWO) is responsible for follow-up to the recommendations of the Secretary-General of PAWO as contained in the draft programme of action submitted at the seventh congress in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
Le Secrétariat général de l'Organisation panafricaine des femmes (OPF) est chargé de veiller à l'application des recommandations de la Secrétaire générale de l'OPF, telles qu'énoncées dans le projet de programme d'action présenté lors du septième Congrès à Ouagadougou.

The Secretariat should continue to raise the awareness of the Heads of State and Government and attract their interest in the various activities undertaken by PAWO.
