Conformément à l’alinéa a) ii) du paragraphe 8 de la résolution 986 (1995), le Gouvernement iraquien a soumis le 4 août 1997 son plan de distribution concernant l’achat et la distribution de fournitures humanitaires au titre de la phase II, que le Secrétaire général a approuvé le même jour (S/1997/606).
As required by paragraph 8 (a) (ii) of resolution 986 (1995), the Government of Iraq on 4 August 1997 submitted its distribution plan (DP II) for the purchase and distribution of humanitarian supplies for phase II, which was approved by the Secretary-General on the same day (S/1997/606).

12. Comme il lui était demandé au paragraphe 8 a) ii) de la résolution 986 (1995) du Conseil, le Gouvernement iraquien a, le 4 août 1997, soumis un nouveau plan de distribution concernant l'achat et la distribution des produits humanitaires, pour la nouvelle période définie par la résolution 1111 (1997).
12. As required under paragraph 8 (a) (ii) of resolution 986 (1995), the Government of Iraq has on 4 August 1997 submitted a new distribution plan for the purchase and distribution of humanitarian supplies for an additional period as defined in resolution 1111 (1997).
