Comfort and security are important in regard to road safety a good night rest without having to worry about personal security or the integrity of the cargo, as well as a certain level of comfort in regard to food, beverages and overall hygiene, are crucial towards the drivers alertness and hence road safety in general.

Le confort et la sécurité sont deux facteurs essentiels à la sécurité routière: une bonne nuit de repos, pendant laquelle le conducteur n'est pas préoccupé par sa sécurité personnelle ou celle de son chargement, et un certain niveau de confort (alimentation, boissons, hygiène globale) sont indispensables pour assurer la vigilance du conducteur, et donc la sécurité de la circulation routière dans son ensemble.

But, indeed, since I must bid the Assembly good night in a few minutes, may I interject here a line from the Welsh poet Dylan Thomas. I shall add my own second line, but it will make sense:
